Garrett Higbee is the founder of Soul Care Consulting International (SCCI) and Transformed Resources, both dedicated to developing healthy pastors, leaders, and care cultures in the church. He and his SCCI team have created a highly effective church-based model of discipleship and soul care, rooted in Ephesians 4, to engage every believer and help churches thrive in leadership and community. Garrett’s vision is to see churches flourish through authentic relationships and biblical care.

In 2004, Garrett also founded Twelve Stones Ministries, a biblical counseling retreat, where he continues to lead Lead Healthy Retreats, an intensive counseling ministry for ministry leaders and their wives. He currently services as Director of Twelve Stones Ministries. Originally trained as a clinical psychologist specializing in marriage and family counseling, Garrett experienced a radical conversion in 1992, which led him to fully trust in Christ and His Word for counseling and life transformation.

A founding board member of the Biblical Counseling Coalition, Garrett is a frequent conference speaker and a contributing author for several Christian counseling books. He lives with his wife Tammy and their three children on a restful 4-acre property in Westfield, Indiana, where they host Lead Healthy Retreats.
